Chepstow half term racing |
|
Summer racing at Chepstow Racecourse steps up a gear during the school half term holidays. There are two days of racing, starting with a family day on Bank Holiday Monday and the action continues 24 hours later on Tuesday 29 May. Itâs Family Day with Unison Cymru Wales on Monday 28th when there will be an array of free activities for children, including a giant mega slide, a super sized bouncy castle, a jungle assault course, face painting and a ball pond. Racecourse mascot Sir Willy Winnit will be out and about meeting and greeting families â and posing for photographs. There will also be an outdoor barbecue to add to the holiday atmosphere. Simon Lee, General Manager of Chepstow Racecourse, said: âMonday 28th is the first of our two major Bank Holiday meetings of the year â theyâre always popular, especially with the families because we lay on so many free childrenâs activities. âTuesday is a busy day too - another good fixture for seasoned regulars as well as visitors sampling the sport of horse racing for the first time.â *Bank Holiday Monday 28 May.
